The Virtual Double Bass Summer Intensive is a 2-week program designed to help you find ways to perform with more ease, power and expression and to take your playing to the next level!

Working with world-class mentors in a supportive environment, you will discover new techniques and ideas through our core curriculum program with private lessons, technique classes, master classes, and electives like yoga, improvisation, historical performance, mock auditions and a lot more, tailored to your needs and interest.

As a participant you will have the opportunity to study with Peter Lloyd, Edwin Barker, Heather Miller Lardin, George Amorim, John Clayton, Rufus Reid and Marlene Rosenberg and attend workshops and sessions with peak performance psychologist Don Greene, Contrabass Conversations podcaster Jason Heath, and many more.

This program is open to advanced high school, college/conservatory bassists preparing for a career in music, and young professionals looking to expand their knowledge and experience.

Bassists of all levels are also welcome to audit the program. You will have direct access to all live and recorded master classes, workshops, sessions, and to the private Facebook group page to stay connected and exchange new ideas.
